Breeder of multiple varieties of Fancy Mice
HoneyBear Mousery is a small scale mousery near Denver, Colorado. I breed with health, temperament, and longevity in mind. The start of my lines have all been sourced from ethical breeders, never rodent mills. Through selective breeding we are always working on improving our lines to produce the best family pets possible. HoneyBear Mousery was founded in 2023, when my pet mouse Snowbell had been Diagnosed with Failure To Thrive. A life of suffering could have been avoided if the chain pet store I purchased her from would have used ethical breeding practices, rather than throwing random mice together. The loss of Snowbell had been my motivation to provide people with healthy, well tempered, pets, and a breeder that could provide support for life. I stand behind all of the animals I produce, with multiple contracts in place to protect my animals from ending up in shelters or neglectful homes.
Varieties Offered
Availability of certain varieties is not guaranteed.
We breed Tricolor Mice, Texel Mice, Angora mice and Pied Mice. While we would love to expand to other varieties, we are focusing on these three due to how much time, money, and planning is behind each litter. We are breeding towards the FMBA standards, and working to improve our lines in any way we can.
